Ramadan Awareness Dinner is MSA's biggest annual event. We'll be delighted to have among our guests who will share dinner with the Muslim community as they open their fast. Ramadan is a month of reflection and renovation of fatih. Muslims abstain from food, water and from the break of dawn to sunset and then they eat a meal called "Iftar".
RAD is unique opportunity to learn about Islam and mingle with the always-freindly and welcoming Muslim community. RAD has proved a successful tool for builing bridges of understanding and healthy discourse with other religions and cultures. The Undergraduate Student Government has continued to support and co-sponser RAD's for many years and considered it a 'great cause'.
Ramadan Awareness Dinner is a very popular event. To help MSA better organize the event please RSVP msa @ uconn.edu and include your name, email and telephone number.

You can also bring kids, but you have to register for them too. After having Iftar, when the lecture starts, kids will have to be moved to
SU Room 304that MSA has reserved next to the Ballroom. MSA is not responsible for the kids. Therefore, parents have to arrange for someone to take care of their kids if they are not there.MSA reserved Room 321 for babysitting. If you have kids you will be automatically directed to that room to leave your kids.
